The project provided implementation support to seven provincial cities of Vietnam which are in early stages of development to ensure green infrastructure principles in design and urban planning.
We conducted a multi-hazard vulnerability risk assessment of the region to ensure the project provides support and adaptability to climate change, particularly in water-related hazards. A detailed review of the master plan was done, with suggestions on climate-resilient infrastructure design guidelines. The focus was on the capacity development of the cities to make them climate-resilient towards physical vulnerability.
