This project aimed to deliver a world-class sporting event and elevate Odisha’s sports infrastructure. The Sports and Youth Services Department, Government of Odisha, entrusted Grant Thornton India LLP and IPE Global as a consortium to establish a PMU for orchestrating the prestigious Hockey World Cup 2018 in Bhubaneswar.
Through meticulous planning, effective governance, and stakeholder engagement, we provided end-to-end support in the seamless execution of the mega event in Odisha, leaving a legacy for sports enthusiasts and the community alike.
