On 19 June 2026, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka chaired a high-level meeting to deliberate on transforming Karnataka’s 320+ km coastline- spanning Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Uttara Kannada- into a world-class, multi-product tourism destination.
The meeting brought together senior government officials, industry leaders, investors, and tourism stakeholders to discuss policy reforms, investment facilitation, and the strategic roadmap for unlocking the region’s tourism potential.
As the Program Management Unit (PMU) for the Sustainable Development and Promotion of Tourism in Coastal Karnataka, appointed by the Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka, IPE Global was proud to support this important strategic engagement.
The Government’s vision is clear: to accelerate sustainable tourism development, attract investment, and position Coastal Karnataka as a premier destination on the national and global tourism map.
