As Rajasthan moves towards its economic growth ambitions under Viksit Rajasthan @2047, expanding opportunities for women in paid work will be key to unlocking the state’s economic potential and its goal of becoming a USD 350 billion economy by 2030.
Adding to the momentum, IPE Global, in partnership with the Rajasthan Skill and Livelihoods Development Corporation (RSLDC), brought together industry leaders, HR professionals, and representatives from leading national companies in Jaipur to discuss ways to create an enabling environment for women’s participation in skilling and formal employment.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Rajkumar Meena, Joint Director, Directorate of Employment, said, “Perceptions about women in the workforce are changing and several policy and legal measures have been introduced to improve women’s participation across industries.”
Advancing women’s participation in formal employment is critical to building a stronger, more inclusive, and future-ready workforce. The move forward will require stronger industry engagement, inclusive workplaces, and clear pathways from training to employment.
