The "Managing Monsoons in a Warming Climate" issue brief, developed by IPE Global and Esri India, addresses the pressing issue of climate change and its impact on India. As global temperatures rise and atmospheric humidity increases, heatwaves have become more frequent and intense, particularly in tropical regions like India. This brief delves into the projected increase in heatwave intensity and prevalence, which could affect 8 out 10 people in India by 2036 if current trends continue. The study highlights how these rising temperatures are altering the monsoon season, extending summer-like conditions, and exacerbating extreme rainfall events. Through a detailed regional assessment, the brief identifies heatwave hotspots across India and provides actionable recommendations to mitigate the socio-economic and environmental risks posed by these extreme weather events.

Decoding the Union Budget

The theme for this year is ‘Youth Skills for Peace and Development’ highlighting
the crucial role that young people can play in maintaining peace in a conflict driven
world.

In this project, to provide youth employment opportunities and fortify the healthcare workforce in India 360 ONE Foundation committed CSR grants to the SAMRIDH Healthcare Blended Finance Facility, which is supported by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by IPE Global.

This report provides pathways for differential capital flow and explores how blended finance can be a helpful tool to drive more public, private, and philanthropic investments to mobilise the private health sector towards net zero.

SAMRIDH’s “Toolkit for Gender Lens Investing” is a practical guide designed to equip and empower
investors. It helps establish standards for gender lens investing, particularly in the healthcare sector,
which is crucial for building healthy and prosperous communities.

Led by Raghwesh Ranjan, Anshita Sharma, Akash Porwal, and Namita Wadhwa of team SEE, this paper discussed the effects of social and behavioural change interventions on minimum dietary diversity among pregnant women and associated socio-economic inequality in Rajasthan, India.
