Aimed at improving hypertension prevention and control, Vital Strategies with its global expertise and local leadership strives to make progress against some of the world’s most difficult health challenges. The Ministry of Health (MoH), Government of Federal Republic of Ethiopia in collaboration with World Health Organization (WHO) and Resolve to Save Lives, an initiative of Vital Strategies, conducted a Hypertension Prevention and Control Project in five regions & two city administrations of Ethiopia. The project included hypertension prevention through screening, treatment, care and health education at the point of care, on service uptake and treatment adherence, and salt reduction campaigns in schools.
