The objective of the project is to assist the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) in developing an investment challenge that is in line with the priorities of the urban water sector in order to encourage ULBs and promote demonstration projects in sync with the AMRUT 2.0 policy objectives, including resilience to outbreaks like Covid-19.
We are supporting the AMRUT 2.0 mission launch, with a focus on sectoral institutional improvement and capacity building across all states in areas like water demand-supply management, water conservation techniques, and water management technology, among other things. By creating PPP standards and an implementation framework for states across the nation, we are providing specific support to the ministry in promoting public-private partnerships in the water sector.
