The project focused on improving access to basic infrastructure and water quality in the city of Dushanbe, which could lead to improved public health and a more equitable distribution of public services.
We were engaged to perform the institutional strengthening and capacity development for Dushanbe Water Supply and Sanitation Project. The team was involved in developing and implementing a sustainable business model and institutional capacity for improved KPIs and service delivery.
Key Activities
- Support the development of a business model for DVK that will cover technical, operational, institutional/organisational restructuring, and human resource management
- Establish accountability and incentive mechanisms with a performance benchmarking matrix
- Enhance smart information management system for operational efficiency and seamless integration of customer database, billing, collection, accounting and reporting, and operationalising non-revenue water management system
