Aimed at implementing a “Programme Towards Elimination of Tuberculosis”, this IBRD and MoHFW-funded project seeks to improve the coverage and quality of tuberculosis control interventions in the private and public sectors in nine targeted states of India. In order to strengthen this initiative and intensify private sector engagement, National Technical Support Units (NTSU) and State Technical Support Units (STSU) are being set up and are being considered as key action points under the institutional framework of NTEP.
We are supporting the establishment of STSU-Tamil Nadu to ensure the engagement of service providers. The STSU will operate out of Chennai and will function with active support and monitoring by the NTSU.
