The ADB-funded Jammu & Kashmir Urban Sector Development Investment Programme (JKUSDIP), with an outlay of INR 1,950 Cr (USD 300 Mn), was designed to foster sustainable economic growth in urban areas by promoting commerce and improving the livelihoods of vulnerable communities. The programme focused on strengthening critical urban infrastructure across water supply, sewerage, drainage, roads, and transportation sectors, improving service delivery, reducing vulnerabilities, and strengthening the urban economy.
Scope of Services
We provided end-to-end technical and management support covering project formulation, appraisal of proposed sub-projects (technical, financial, environmental, and social), detailed engineering design, procurement assistance, construction supervision, monitoring and evaluation, and overall implementation support. Additionally, the team led community awareness initiatives, capacity building, and comprehensive reporting to strengthen institutional systems and ensure sustainable outcomes.
