As Cambodia continues to strengthen the quality and relevance of its education system, IPE Global is contributing to the broader dialogue on how evidence, stronger classroom practices and enhanced institutional capacity can translate into better learning outcomes for students.
A high-level meeting on school reform towards the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) was held in Phnom Penh on 15 August 2026, bringing together senior leadership from Cambodia’s Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS) and key education stakeholders.
The discussions centred on a critical question for Cambodia’s education system: how can schools better prepare young people not simply to recall knowledge, but to apply it, think critically and solve real-world problems?
This agenda closely reflects IPE Global’s approach to education systems strengthening – connecting evidence with policy, policy with classroom practice, and stronger institutional capacity with improved learning outcomes.
