
Ashwajit Singh, Founder and Managing Director of IPE Global, has been conferred the ICAI Hall of Fame Award at the 19th ICAI Awards – World Forum of Accountants, organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
The Hall of Fame Award is the highest recognition instituted by ICAI and is presented to chartered accountants for lifetime contributions marked by leadership, professional integrity, and sustained impact across sectors. The award is jury-nominated and recognises individuals whose work has influenced institutions and public life.
Singh has over three decades of experience in the development sector, working on programmes related to health systems strengthening and sustainable development. His work spans multiple regions, including Asia, Africa, and Europe. As head of IPE Global, he has led initiatives focused on translating public policy into on-ground implementation.
During his tenure, IPE Global has worked with a range of international and national organisations, including multilateral agencies, development partners, and government institutions, on projects related to public health, governance, and social development.
An alumnus of the London School of Economics & Political Science and Harvard Business School, Singh also serves on several national and international boards, contributing to strategic and advisory roles across consulting and development sectors.
Reacting to the award, Singh said the recognition reflected the values and discipline instilled by the chartered accountancy profession and acknowledged the contributions of colleagues and collaborators associated with his work over the years.
“It is a profound honour to receive the ICAI Hall of Fame Award from a profession that has shaped my values, discipline, and approach to leadership. This recognition belongs to each one who has walked this journey with me in advancing development outcomes that truly matter,” he said.
The 19th ICAI Awards – World Forum of Accountants brought together professionals, policymakers and industry leaders to recognise achievements in professional excellence, ethical leadership and innovation across the accounting and allied professions.
