India-UK Outstanding Achiever Recognises Exceptional Individuals

The ‘India-UK Outstanding Achiever’ award has recognized 35 exceptional individuals, including Ashwajit Singh and Ananya Birla, among others, in its Class of 2025.

The ‘India-UK Outstanding Achiever’ award has recognized 35 exceptional individuals, including Radhika Apte, Ananya Birla and Aman Dhall among others in its Class of 2025, celebrating their achievements across various fields. Held at the House of Lords in London, the prestigious event honored professionals and alumni from British universities who have made significant contributions to arts, culture, entertainment, sports, business, and public service. 

About the award

Organised by the National Indian Students and Alumni Union (NISAU) UK, in collaboration with the British Council in India and the UK Government Department for International Trade (DIT), the awards highlight the impact of Indian professionals on a global stage. This year’s recipients include entrepreneurs, industry leaders, government officials, and distinguished artists who continue to strengthen India-UK ties through innovation, education, and cultural exchange. 

Notable winners

Among the notable winners were Ananya Birla, entrepreneur; Radhika Apte, theatre and film actor; Aman Dhall, Founder CommsCredible, Mirra Sondhi, Managing Director (Technology Risk) at Deutsche Bank; Ashwajit Singh, Founder & Managing Director IPE Global; Nitish Mishra, Minister of Industries & Tourism, Govt of Bihar; Keshav Suri, Executive Director of The Lalit Suri Hospitality; and Siddhartha Khastgir, UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship & Forbes 30 Under 30. 

This prestigious honour places the winners in an esteemed league of past achievers, including former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra, CEO of Serum Institute of India Adar Poonawalla, Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha, National Award-winning actor Parineeti Chopra, Indian football team goalkeeper Aditi Chauhan, News Director of India Today Group Rahul Kanwal, NITI Aayog Director Urvashi Prasad, and two-time Ramnath Goenka award-winning journalist Chaitanya Marpakwar. 

The event series celebrating the India-UK relationship included a gathering at the UK Parliament on February 12, followed by the India-UK Education Conference on February 13, and culminated in the grand Achievers Honours Gala Ceremony.
