The project envisioned strengthening the state-wide education system database to cater to the following: a) analyze and strengthen the existing education data tracking and management information systems of the state, and b) build the capacities of Management Information Systems (MIS) and other education governments-functionaries at various levels on data quality and its utility for informed decision-making.
We were entrusted by UNICEF as their Technical Support Agency (TSA) and our impact-driven results have been greater inclusivity in school education through strengthened data tracking, identification of outliers, and strengthened data convergence. This benefits the entire statewide population of children falling in the CwSN and OoSC categories. It has created a stronger cadre of education functionaries at the state/district/block levels on UDISE+ and a repository of knowledge resources for the sustained impact of capacity building and a team of suitably training master trainers.
