New project with Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

IPE Global, in partnership with the International Center for Research on Women (ICRW) have been commissioned by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) to undertake a comprehensive program of evaluation and learnings from India’s Family Planning (FP) investments by the government; BMGF; and other development partners. The objective of the assignment is to assess the extent and ways in which the investments in the FP program are improving quality, facilitating and accelerating uptake, and influencing the overall scale and impact of FP services in the priority states of Uttar Pradesh (UP) and Bihar. IPE Global is leading in two domains, namely, Private Sector Evaluation and Economic Evaluation of FP investments. The total value of the project is USD 286,250 inclusive of all taxes. Results from the evaluation will help programme managers in revisiting the intervention design and undertaking mid-course corrections if required. At the policy level, learnings from the evaluation will aid stakeholders in the two states to bring out briefs and white papers on improving the FP services and outcomes. The assignment duration is three years (2015 to 2018).
