UNICEF: Documentation of SAM Pilot in the state of Madhya Pradesh (2016)

We have won a project to document the planning and program implementation process of SAM Pilot in Madhya Pradesh; prepare report and presentation & dissemination of findings for United Nations Children’s Fund. In this project, we will document the process & findings/learnings from the study on Effectiveness of World Health Organization Recommended Therapeutic Feed- F-75, F-100 and Medical Nutrition Therapy in Management of Children with Severe Acute Malnutrition in Nutrition Rehabilitation Centres of Madhya Pradesh. We will be generating a report at the end of the study which will reflect the methodology, process employed to ensure precision and accuracy of the results, feedback received from the NRC staff, care givers of the children with SAM admitted in the NRCs and community health workers. The report will also have photographic evidence and the sample size of the entire study will be around 450 children admitted in select NRCs of three districts of Bhopal, Betul and Hoshangabad. The duration of consultancy will be of 6 months for 9 NRCs of three districts
