#MakeWayforHer -It is time the world women 'differently' ... more so 'justly'.
Women make up half of world’s human capital and yet they are denied access to resources and are not involved in decision making. Empowering and educating women and girls can accelerate their development and help them prosper in an ever more competitive world.
Launched in March 2017, #MakeWayforHer campaign advocates and engages people to help break perceptions and build a more gender inclusive world. The initiative highlights the need to address gender gaps in the formal work space, home and society at large through its various themes:
brings to fore prejudices that exist in the Corporate World/Formal workspaces where despite the fact that men and women work alongside, they are viewed with different perspectives.
Parity on Wheels
highlights the need to address gender gaps in the tourism industry and calls for breaking the existing perceptions for building a just society.
Colours of Empowerment
celebrates the various nuances of women empowerment and calls for shifting perceptions to break the gender stereotypes.
The campaign aims to inspire individuals and communities to act and share in compelling ways … ways that will move the audience to action. Because, it cannot be just ONE day that can make a difference. A sustained effort can not only help accelerate gender parity but also #MakeWayforHer
